These terms of business set out the basis on which we will provide services to you. By instructing us, you agree to be bound by these terms.
We will provide you with independent loss assessing services as agreed between us. We will provide these services with reasonable care and skill, and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Our fees for our services will be agreed with you in advance and set out in our engagement letter. We may charge you additional fees if we are required to carry out work that falls outside the scope of our engagement.
Our fees are payable within 30 days of the date of our invoice. We reserve the right to charge interest on late payments.
We will keep your information confidential and will not disclose it to third parties except as required by law or with your consent.
We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal information. We will process your personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our GDPR policy is as follows:
We will only collect personal information that is necessary for the provision of our services, and we will keep it accurate and up-to-date.
We will use your personal information only for the purposes for which it was collected.
We will keep your personal information secure and will take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect it.
We will only disclose your personal information to third parties if necessary for the provision of our services or as required by law.
We will retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services to you, and we will securely dispose of it when it is no longer needed.
Limitation of Liability
Our liability to you in respect of any loss or damage arising from our services is limited to the amount of our fees for those services. We will not be liable for any consequential or indirect loss or damage.
Either of us may terminate our engagement at any time by giving written notice. Upon termination, you will be liable for any fees due up to the date of termination.
