How We Can Help.
Had a disaster at your business premises?
We're here to help. But first, let's find out what the problem is.
How We Help
At ILA, we understand that running a business is a demanding job, and dealing with an insurance claim can be a time-consuming and stressful process. That’s why we believe that speaking with a loss adjuster at ILA can help ensure your claim is managed well on your behalf.
By appointing ILA as your Loss Adjuster, you can continue operating your business with minimal interruption. Our team will handle all aspects of the claim process, including negotiating directly with your insurance company to achieve the best possible settlement for your business.
We can assist with claims for Buildings, Contents, Stock, and Business Interruption. For self-insured businesses with high deductibles, we can manage the entire claim process so that your staff can focus on their day-to-day tasks. In these instances, businesses turn to us to handle the claim process until the costs have exceeded a set value.
It’s important to note that appointing ILA as your Loss Adjuster may be a cost-effective solution for your business; our fees may be claimed back through your accounts. At ILA, we have extensive experience working with self-insured businesses and are committed to providing a professional and efficient service that minimizes disruption to your operations.
Which Type of Claim Do You Need Our Help With?
Business Interruption Insurance
Business Interruption (BI) insurance is like a safety net for businesses. It helps protect them from financial losses when unexpected things happen that force them to stop working. BI insurance can help cover costs like lost profits and ongoing expenses when a business has to stop operating because of things like fires or natural disasters.

So, Why Choose ILA For Your Business Insurance Claim?
Frequently Asked Questions
We understand that cost is an important factor when it comes to settling your claim. That’s why at ILA, we offer a competitive fee of 10% plus VAT of the overall settlement amount. But we also know that every situation is unique, which is why we offer flexible options to our customers.
One option is to utilise our extensive supplier network. If you choose this option and our contractors complete the work, they will cover our fee on your behalf for the proportion of work they complete. This can provide even more value to our customers.
To learn more about our fees and options, please reach out to a member of our team. We’re here to help you navigate the claims process and ensure that you receive the compensation you deserve.
Although claim preparation costs are typically not covered under insurance policies, we offer a solution for our clients. If you choose to use one of our trusted contractors from our supplier network, they will cover our fees for the portion of work that they complete on your behalf.
Please note that your insurance company will not directly pay our fees, unless you have purchased policy that covers Claim Preparation Fees.
Are you wondering why you should consider using your own Independent Loss Adjuster when your insurance company has already appointed one? It’s important to keep in mind that the Loss Adjuster appointed by your insurance company will prioritise reducing their overall liability and mitigating the loss, which may not always align with your best interests.
By hiring your own Independent Loss Adjuster, you can benefit from a fresh perspective and a more personalised approach. We will take the time to understand your unique situation and utilise every aspect of your insurance policy to ensure that you receive the full benefits you are entitled to in the event of a loss. Our priority is to represent your interests and ensure that you receive a fair settlement that accurately reflects the extent of your loss.
Don’t let your insurance company’s Loss Adjuster make decisions that may not be in your best interests. With our help, you can be confident that you are getting the best possible outcome and the maximum benefit from your insurance policy.
Loss Adjusters who work solely for the public, as we do, are often referred to as Loss Assessors by most of the industry. However, not many in the industry realise that Loss Adjusters can work for the public, as well as insurers.
Entrusting your claim to an independent Loss Adjuster, who is a member of the esteemed Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters (CILA) and registered with the FCA is crucial. At ILA, we pride ourselves on being Loss Adjusters solely devoted to serving the public, whilst adhering to the highest industry standards outlined in the CILA Charter and FCA regulations to ensure a fair and impartial settlement for our clients.
Because we are Loss Adjusters who act in accordance with the CILA Charter and FCA rules and regulations, most Insurers will welcome our involvement. Remember, when we are talking to your Insurance Company, we recognise the insurance jargon, terminology and the potential repercussions that you may experience when providing your Insurance Company with information.
It will be our responsibility to ensure that you appreciate the importance of any questions that are being asked of you, remove the insurance jargon and explain matters to you in a way that you can understand. We see no reason why your Insurance Company should react negatively should you decide to appoint us to assist you.
We believe that everyone should have their own Independent Loss Adjuster when they suffer an insured loss or damage.
